London - AFP

England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to field against the West Indies in the second one-day international at The Oval here on Tuesday. England were unchanged from the side that won by 114 runs under the Duckworth/Lewis method at Southampton on Saturday to go 1-0 up in this three-match series. West Indies made two changes with opener Chris Gayle back after 15 months out of international action following a dispute with Caribbean cricket chiefs after Darren Bravo was sidelined from the rest of the tour with a hip problem. Fast bowler Tino Best took the place of Andre Russell after the all-rounder suffered a shoulder injury while batting at Southampton. A minute's silence in memory of Tom Maynard, the Surrey and England Lions batsman who died aged just 23 on Monday, was set to take place before the start. England: Alastair Cook (capt), Ian Bell, Jonathan Trott, Ravi Bopara, Eoin Morgan, Craig Kieswetter (wkt), Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann, Steven Finn, James Anderson West Indies: Chris Gayle, Lendl Simmons, Denesh Ramdin (wkt) Dwayne Smith, Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Darren Sammy (capt), Tino Best, Ravi Rampaul, Sunil Narine Umpires: Tony Hill (NZL) and Rob Bailey (ENG) TV umpire: Kumar Dharmasena (SRI) Match referee: Jeff Crowe (NZL)
