Joe Bergeron rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Daje Johnson led all Texas receivers with 66 yards and a touchdown on three receptions. New Mexico (1-1), meanwhile, couldn't muster a score, with quarterback B.R. Holbrook going 5-of-8 for 32 aerial yards.
