Denver - UPI

Brittney Griner scored 13 points for Baylor Sunday, helping the Lady Bears earn a 59-47 win over Stanford and a berth in the NCAA championship game. Griner dominated under the glass with eight rebounds for Baylor (39-0), which will look to complete the first 40-0 season in college basketball history Tuesday when it takes on Notre Dame in the national championship game. The Fighting Irish defeated Connecticut 83-75 in Sunday's other semifinal match-up. Terran Condrey also netted 13 points and Odyssey Sims added 11 as the Lady Bears used a 17-3 run early in the second half to take control. Baylor defeated Notre Dame 94-81 in a Nov. 20 game in which Griner amassed 32 points and 14 rebounds. Nnemkadi Ogwumike closed out her college career with 22 as Stanford (35-2) saw its 32-game winning streak snapped.
