Dallas - UPI

Dirk Nowitzki and Rodrigue Beaubois both scored 15 points Tuesday to lead the Dallas Mavericks past Sacramento 110-100. Nowitzki and Beaubois had plenty of help on offense with four teammates also scoring in double figures for the Mavs, who had lost three of their previous four games. The win pulled Dallas to within a half-game of idle Houston in the battle for the sixth playoff seed in the Western Conference. DeMarcus Cousins led Sacramento with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Marcus Thornton, Isaiah Thomas and Tyreke Evans all had 16 points apiece. Sacramento's losing streak grew to five games. The Kings trailed by five points with 6:40 to play in the game but Dallas responded with a 5-0 run that kept their lead in double digits the rest of the way.
