Mat Latos won his second consecutive decision Tuesday in Cincinnati's 2-1 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies. Latos (12-4) turned in seven strong innings, giving up one run on four hits and striking out six in the Reds' sixth win in their last eight games. Jay Bruce drove in both Cincinnati runs with his third home run in as many games. Aroldis Chapman notched his 35th save. Philadelphia's Jimmy Rollins doubled for his 2,000th career hit but the Phils lost for the second time in six tries. Dominic Brown picked up the only Philadelphia RBI when he drew a bases-loaded walk in the fourth inning. Kyle Kendrick (8-10) took the loss. He allowed six hits, including Bruce's sixth-inning homer, and had his personal four-game winning streak snapped.
