Dubai - Arab Today

Skydive Dubai has dedicated a silver medal won by star jet-ski athlete, Rashid Ali Al Mulla, to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council. The medal was won by Al Mulla during the 2014 International Jet Sports Boating Association World Finals, which was held in Arizona, United States.
Nasr Hammouda Al Niyadi, President of the Federation of U.A.E. Air Sports and Skydive Dubai, said the dedication of the medal is meant to express the thanks and appreciation of the Dubai Sports Council for its generous support of Sky Dive Dubai. Such support has contributed to many sports achievements in the U.A.E..
Ahmed Al Kamali, President of the U.A.E. Athletics Federation, praised Al Mullah for his jet-ski victories.
Al Mulla said he was happy to win second place and be awarded the silver medal in the free style category, in what he described was a fierce competition between 22 participants from around the world.
Al Mulla went on to say that this was his first time competing in the U.S., though he previously participated in London, Belgium and his home country, where he won a gold medal. Al Mullah also took home a silver medal in the free style category in Vienna, Austria.
