The Second Showjumping Championship event is all set for today, to be held under the patronage of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) President Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa at the Military Sports Association Field in Al Raffah.
BREEF has set the number of competitions fortoday's championship, with two contests for junior level and two for advanced level.
Sami Ghazwan, one of the top participants, said that winning the first place will be the goal he would seek, and he will provide his best performance in the tournament to achieve that. He added that the good and early preparations of the participants would make the competition very strong and competitive.
Musallam Ali on his part said that he is keen to get a positive result, especially since he prepared hard for the competition. He stressed that the race will be tough and strong amongst the riders, especially with the participation of a number of past champions.
