Under the patronage of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) President Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the BREEF showjumping season gets underway tomorrow Saturday with the Season-Opening Race, to be held at the Military Sports Association Field, sponsored by Sports One Company.
The event, which is sponsored by Sports One Company, will consists of five events, to be launched at 8.30am and held until 4.30pm.
The BREEF Technical Committee has confirmed the five competitions for the opening race event, which includes two levels for juniors and three levels for advanced seniors.
Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa will head a committee that will supervise the showjumping competitions. This committee consists of Haydar Al Zobi, Mohammed Dadallah, Sami Ghazwan, Haydar Rafeaie, Ayedh Nasarallah and Edram Al Aqeel.
BREEF identified the conditions of the competition, which allows horses to participate maximum three times a day, and each horse is allowed to participate only once per category, while the rider can participate with two horses in each category.
