The second ice hockey training camp will be concluded a Villaggio Mall on Tuesday. The training camp is being held under patronage of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and the Qatar Winter Sports Committee to attract new players and to increase the popularity of ice hockey in the state of Qatar. On the other hand, the Qatar Winter Sports Committee announced that Qatar will participate in Thailand Ice Hockey Championship to be held from October 19 to November 02, 2013. Sixteen players were selected to join the Qatari national ice hockey team including; Mohammad Al Khalaf, Thamer Al Mohanadi, Saad Al Meslimani, Abdulaziz Fakhro, Saoud Al Kuwari, Mostafa Ghassan Al Suwayeh, Eid Al Kebaisi, Abdullah Al Sulaiti, Mohammad Al Amer, Abdulrahman Al Sheraim, Saoud Maarefiyah, Nayef Al Rumaihi, Saad Al Naimi, and Abdulrahman Al Ashqar. Mohammad Al-Meghasib, Assistant Secretary General of the Winter Sports Committee said that the participation in Thailand Championship will enable the Qatari players to develop their level.
