The Qatari youth handball team finished their final training ahead of their match against Egypt tomorrow Sunday, in the semi-final of the handball competition of the Youth Olympic Games held in China.
The meeting is considered as an early final since both teams were strong favorites for winning the title. The Egyptian side is one of the strongest teams in the competition and is the title holder. They won their group after defeating Norway and Brazil.
The Qatari side for its part are on a hot streak of form after defeating Tunisia, who were also strong contenders for winning the tournament. The coaching staff has been preparing the players mentally and physically for their match against Egypt. They reminded the players that they won the Asia championship in the same city a year ago, and they have an opportunity to make a similar achievement if they win their semi-final game.
