The 2013 Qatar Open Sailing Championship and Qatar International Match Racing Championship will begin in Doha on October 01. The opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday at 1800hrs while the official competitions will be kicked off on Wednesday. According to the organizers, the championships will bring together 144 sailors from 16 nations including Czech, Germany, Italy, Kuwait, Bahrain, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, India and Qatar.
