The football team of Al-Qadsia SC was crowned champion of the Kuwait Super Cup Friday night for the fourth time after beating Al-Kuwait SC 3-2.
The game, played at Al-Nasr SC Stadium, saw Al-Qadsia, the League's champion, forcing Al-Kuwait on the defensive constantly with its striker Bader Al-Mutawa' managing to score the first goal at minute 22 of the first half time.
Al-Kuwait, the champion of His Highness the Amir's Cup, made a comeback in the second halftime but was unable to cope with Al-Qadsia.
This was the seventh edition of the championship which is dominated by Al-Qadsia with four wins.
