Samsung Amman International Marathon concluded on Friday with the participation of some 12,000 runners from around the world in the 42km, the 21km half marathon and 10km Fun Run. .
HRH Prince Feras Bin Raad , the Chairman of the board of "Run Jordan" honored the winners during a ceremony that was held at the Roman Amphitheater in Amman and attended by Mayor of Amman and the director general of Samsung.
Jordanian runner Mithqal Abbadi finished first in the 42km with 2h26m while Kenyan runner sarah kipaso came first in the women’s 42km.
Raafat Al Zaboun and Sujoud Ali finished first in the 21km marathon while Mu’tasam Faris and Sabriya Jamil finished first in the 10km marathon.
Run Jordan is dedicated to bringing together different marathon events and races under one umbrella and promoting healthy lifestyles.
