Lekhwiya Sports Club Monday traveled to the Saudi capital Riyadh to play their match against Al Nasr in the group stage of AFC Champions League 2015 this Wednesday.
Lekhwiya had their last training session on Sunday with the participation of all players except for Dame Traore who left Doha to attend his father’s funeral. All players demonstrated good performance which gave confidence to the technical staff before their crucial match which will determine whether the team will continue in the competition or not.
Lekhwiya is top of the group with 10 points and the club needs only one more point to qualify to the Round of 16.
Lekhwiya squad comprises Claude Amine, Ahmed Hatemi, Evanildo, Khalid Muftah, Chico Flores, Ahmed Yasser, Mohamed Moussa, Mohamed Abdullah, Luiz Martin, Karim Boudeif, Abdel Rahman Mohamed, Nam Tae Hee, Youssef Msakni, Vladimir Weiss, Ismail Mohamed, Sebastian Soria, Khalid Radwan, Ali Mohamed, Mohamed Razaq and Ali Afif.
