Two Kuwaiti jet ski champions won the stock competition of the UAE Jet Ski Championship and a third Kuwaiti was crowned top winner of the amateurs' race.
Abdullah Al-Fadhel who scored 173 points, thus winning the stock competition, told KUNA although the result was a record accomplishment for him as an athlete, he sensed heavy responsibility to maintain the top rank in such competitions.
Another Kuwaiti champion, Ahmad Al-Dallali, came second in the same category, with 161 points. A third compatriot, Abdul Aziz Al-Najdi, won the amateurs' competition, 154 points.
Yousef Al-Abdulrazzak, also a Kuwaiti, came second in the general results for the veteran skiers' group.
All these accomplishments are fruits of the team solidarity, headed by Sheikha Mashael Al-Duaij Al-Sabah, Al-Fadhel said, as well as support of the Public Authority for Sports and Youth, the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee, in addition to sponsorship of Kuwait Airways.
The next round, the fourth, will be held in Dubai, early next month. The fifth and sixth rounds will be organized later that month.
The Kuwaiti team has won up to 14 cup since launch of the UAE seasonal competitions last January.
