Kuwait exited the AFC U-16s Championship after losing 4-2 to defending champions Uzbekistan on Thursday.
The young Kuwaitis leave the Asian football nations' tournament having exited Group C with no points, but after coming first in their group at the qualifiers ahead of the continental youth event.
The defending champions, however, top the group accompanied by runners-up North Korea and will thus march on to the quartefinals of the four-group competition, currently being held accross Thailand.
The Kuwaiti lineup included nine players who did not play in the previous match against Nepal, and they missed a couple of chances to take the lead.
