Al Ain remain top of the UAE League after a hard-fought 3-2 away win over Al Shabab on Thursday. Asamoah Gyan opened the scoring from the penalty spot three minutes before half-time and restored Al Ain's lead in the 64th minute after Jociel Ciel's equaliser. Ismail Ahmed then added a third for the visitors with Ciel grabbing a last-gasp second. Al Ain are one point clear of Al Wahda, who saw off Dibba Al Fujairah 2-0 with goals in each half from Hamdan Al Kamali and Adil Sulieman, the first a penalty. Richard Porta's goal was enough for Dubai to beat Ajman 1-0 and move up to fifth. Nabil Al Dawoudi scored a 90th-minute winner for Al Ittihand Kalba as they beat Al Dhafra 2-1. Al Dawoudi had seen his ninth-minute opener cancelled out by Fawzi Basheer but snatched the all important goal at the death. From FIFA
