Under the theme “Sport and Integrity” the football competitions for elementary schools ( level 2)  at the prestigious Schools Olympic Program (SOP)  2013-2014 entered crucial rounds on Thursday. In  the last sixteen round, Cairo school outclassed Al Noor counterparts  7-0, Egyptian school defeated Al Falah 4-0, Al Manar school thrashed Abdullah bin Turki 3-0, Khalifa model school defeated  Malek bin Anas 3-0, Al-Qadisia beat  Palestinian counterparts 3-0. The  16th round results  braced Al –Manar, Cairo, Tunisian and Khalia schools to book their places in the last four stage.  In semifinals  encounters, Cairo defeated Al  Manar 4-1, Khalifa thrashed Tunisian school 3-0. The final result showed  that Cairo and Khalifa schools booked their seats in the final match scheduled  in March at  the Aspire Dome. In another SOP scene, the table tennis competition for secondary schools (boys) at the Prestigious Schools Olympic Program entered crucial rounds at Qatar Table Tennis Association indoor  halls on Thursday. In Thursday’s fixtures, secondary school students representing 37 schools made widely -praised- performance in the game amid  an overwhelming attendance from fans and public. Magd El Deen Qabani from Tareq bin Ziad Secondary school and Saoud Jassem from Al Wakrah secondary school  cruised their way to the final match will  be held   in March at Aspire Dome, while player Mohammed Al Karabi from Khalifa Secondary school finished in the third place.
