Dubai Falcons Racing team was victorious in the second leg of the 2012, 12-hour Kartdrome Endurance Championship held at Dubai Autodrome. Sweeping the categories with wins in the professional and national classes as well as the overall ranking, the outfit claims to have become the first all-Emirati set-up to win an endurance karting event in the UAE. This triumph comes just one week after a second place finish in the SWS World Endurance Championship in Paris where only 20 qualified from more than 1,000 international teams. The team, sponsored by Jafza was led by Shaikh Hasher Al Maktoum and comprised of Saeed Al Muhairi, Mohammad Al Mutawa and Hadi Al Beloushi. Ebrahim Al Janahi, deputy CEO of Jafza, said: “Their remarkable achievement reflects their commitment and fighting spirit. We extend best wishes for even greater success. I’m sure they’ll create history by winning the World Championship next year.” From: gulfnews
