Malawi vs. Algeria match counting for the Group B third round of qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations CAN-2015, will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Kanuzu Stadium (artificial pitch) in Blantyre, said Saturday the Algerian Federation Football (FAF).
FAF has been informed of the date of meeting by its Malawian counterpart (FAM), the source added.
For its part, the FAF informed the FAM that the match between Algeria and Malawi (return leg), part of fourth round of CAN 2015 playoffs is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 8:30 pm in Mustapha Tchaker Stadium of Blida.
During the previous round, Algeria edged Mali (1-0) and Malawi beat Ethiopia (3-2).
At the end of the second round of qualifications, Algeria tops Group B with six points ahead of Mali and Malawi (3 pts). Ethiopia is lagging behind with 0 pt.
The top two teams of the group will qualify for the finals of the African Cup of Nations CAN 2015 in Morocco from January 17 to February 8.
