Algerian club ES Sétif clinched Sunday a historical qualification for the African Champions League final, in spite of the 3-2 loss to TP Mazembe in the semi-final second leg played in Lubumbashi.
The two winning scored of Setif were scored by Abdelmalek Ziaya 9' and Younés Sofiane 75', while TPM scored via Nii Adjei 22', Salif Coulibaly 38', and Jonathan Bolingi 55'.
In the first leg, contested last Saturday, ESS won in 8 mai 1945 Stadium on the score of score of 2 to 1.
In the final, ES Sétif will take on another representative of DR Congo, AS Vita Club, who qualified on Saturday night at the expense of Tunisia's CS Sfaxien after dominating them in both first and second leg matches on the same score (2-1 ).
This is the second final on the history of the Setif club, after that won in 1988 against Nigeria’s Iwanwanyu, in the former version of the competition, African Cup of Champion Clubs.
