Cairo - Arabstoday

Egypt coach Bob Bradley said his side must improve their killer instinct before facing Guinea away from home in their second World Cup qualifier on 10 June. The American criticised the Pharaohs for wasting goal-scoring opportunities during Friday's 2-0 win over Mozambique in their opening Group G encounter. ''We committed several mistakes during the Mozambique game. We will try to avoid them against Guinea,'' Bradley told a news conference on Wednesday. ''We created several goal-scoring chances against Mozambique, but we could score only two goals." However, Bradley had words of praise for veteran playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika, forward Mohamed Nagy “Gedo”, and promising youngster Mohamed Salah, saying they followed his instructions against Mozambique. ''The positioning of Abou Treika and Salah was very good when they did not have the ball. They also created several chances for their teammates. Gedo was also instrumental in heaping pressure on Mozambique's defence," he concluded. ahramonline .
