Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Secretary-General, Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, in the presence of Bahrain Football Association (BFA) President, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today received Head of Palestine Olympic football team delegation, Khaled Al-Sayad.
Askar welcomed the Palestinian delegation who are currently holding a training camp in Bahrain and hailed the solid relations bonding the two countries in sport field and all other ones.
He congratulated the Palestinian national team winning the 2014 Challenge Cup tournament and 2015 AFC Cup qualification.
He stressed BOC and all sport leaderships' keenness to provide all forms of support for the Palestinian sport delegations hosted by Bahrain.
Al-Sayad conveyed greetings of President of Palestinian Olympic Committee, President of Palestinian Football Association, Maj-Gen Jibril Al-Rajoub, to BOC Sec-Gen and BFA President.
Al-Sayad appreciated Bahrain's support for Palestine in various areas, looking forward to reach further sport cooperation in the interest of the development of sport in both countries.
BOC Sec-Gen and BFA President presented the Palestinian delegation Head with a commemorative trophy and wish him continued success.
