First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) and President of the West Asian Athletics Federation (WAAF), His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, praised the efforts of Bahrain athletes, referees, and national clubs' coaches and their contribution in the successfulness of the past local sports tournaments season.
This came during the honouring ceremony hosted by the Bahrain Athletics Association at the Royal Hall in Bahrain National Stadium under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the presence of President of the General Organisation of Youth and Sport (GOYS), Secretary-general of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, directors from GOYS, board members, referees and coaches.
The honourees have expressed their greatest delight on this happy occasion, praising the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa's presidency of the association and his support in developing national coaches, arbitration and to all Bahraini athletes.
