Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, West Asia Athletics Federation and Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today met UAE Athletics Association Chairman Ahmed Al-Kamali and discussed joint cooperation.
The meeting was attended by UAE Athletics Association Vice Chairman Mohammed Abdullatif bin Jalal. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa had been presented with the Mohammed bin Rashid Creative Sports Award which honours individuals, teams and establishments that demonstrate creativity in the field of sports.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad hailed the role of the UAE Athletics Association to promote sport which earned the United Arab Emirates landmark achievements in various external arenas. The UAE sport official commended the role of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa in developing athletics in Bahrain, hailing in this regard the landmark accomplishments. He also congratulated HH Shaikh Khalid on winning the Mohammed bin Rashid Creative Sports Award.
