Delegated by His Majesty the King, Youth and Sport Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowder will head Bahrain’s delegation to the World Youth Forum which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from November 4 to 9 under the theme “All For Peace and Development” and with the participation of leaders and youngsters from around the world.
The Youth and Sport Affairs Minister expressed happiness about being tasked by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to attend the forum, stressing the royal constant keenness to support the youth’s initiatives that pave the way for spearheading sustainable development and promoting the culture of tolerance and peace throughout the world.
More than 3000 youngsters from around the world are taking part in this year’s event which will be inaugurated by Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi. The forum will bring under the spotlight key issues like sustainable development, technology, entrepreneurship, civilisations and cultures, making leaders of the future and the model United Nations. It will represent a platform for the youth to exchange ideas and visions on various issues.
