Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has affirmed the crucial role played by the private sector in advancing the Bahraini youth and sport movement.
This came as he attended a ceremony held at the Bahrain National Stadium to honour sponsors of HM the King’s Football Cup, in the presence of a number of officials and representatives of sponsor companies.
He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to all the sponsors of the competition whose final was attended by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He also conveyed to them greetings from the SCYS Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He added that the final of HM the King’s Cup was successful thanks to the sponsors’ efforts, which, he said, will lay the foundation for a stronger partnership between sports associations and the private sector.
