Australia’s Western Sydney Wanderers became the first Australian soccer side to win the AFC champions league after Saudi giants Al-Hilal were unable to score in the second leg of the Asian Champions League final held in Riyadh on Saturday.
Al-Hilal had hosted the Wanderers at the King Fahd stadium in the kingdom’s capital of Riyadh, with the guests holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg.
The Wanderers will go on to face the likes of Real Madrid and Mexico's Cruz Azul in the Fifa Club World Cup in Morocco.
