Al Ain moved six points clear at the top of the UAE League with a 1-0 victory at home over Al Wahda today. Yasser Al Qahtani scored the only goal of the game in the sixth minute as Al Ain extended their advantage over second-placed Al Nasr. Al Shabab, who are in fourth, were held to a 1-1 draw at home by bottom side Dubai SC. Carlos Villanueva had put the hosts ahead in the 16th minute, but Hassan Mohammed equalised midway through the second half. Diakoba Diara scored twice to earn Al Emirates a 2-1 win over Al Ahly Dubai. Diara's goals gave Al Emirates a two-goal lead at the break, with Graffite netting a consolation for the visitors.
