Algerian women's football team has qualified for the second and last round of the 2014 World Cup (CAN) qualifiers, after they drew with their Moroccan counterpart (0-0) in the second-leg match Saturday in Rabat. In the first leg, played on 14 February in Algiers, the Algerian squad defeat their counterparts 2-0 (half time 1-0). The two goals were scored by striker Naima Bouhani-Benziane (12th minute and 56th). On the second and last day, Algeria will play Tunisia, who qualified after they tied with Egypt (2-2) in the second-leg (first round), Saturday in Bizerte, Tunisia. In the first leg, in the Egyptian capital Cairo, Tunisia beat Egypt 3-0. The 2014 Africa Championship of Nations, to take place October 11-24 in Namibia, is a qualifier for the 2015 World Cup.
