Paris - Goal

Ligue 1 side take the lead but are pegged back for the second consecutive matchday, as Colman's penalty forces them to settle for a point.Lille drew 1-1 at the Huseyin Avni Aker stadium against Trabzonspor this evening, as the Turkish side maintain their position at the top of Group B.The French side dominated the first half as Moussa Sow struck just after the half-hour mark, but the hosts' second-half performance was more promising until a blatant handball by the French full-back Mathieu Debuchy handed Gustavo Colman the chance to draw the game level from the spot. The home side struggled to get a hold of the ball early in the match and it was Lille who looked in control. The French champions' attacking trio of Sow, Joe Cole and Eden Hazard linked up well, and it was a great through ball by Hazard that found the perfectly-timed run of Sow, who picked up the ball and slotted past Tolga Zenin from an acute angle.Trabzonspor hardly created any chances in the first half and looked set for trouble whenmidfielder Marek Cech was stretchered off on the stroke of half time, but were relieved to see him return to the pitch for the second period. The Turkish outfit looked like a new team after the break, with Serkan Balci driving a powerful shotover the Lille bar early on. Moussa Sow continued to torment the Trabzonspor defence but couldnot find space for the shot, and Cole came very close in the 54th minute when Zenin had to make a close-range save against the Englishman.Trabzonspor pressed on and were rewarded for the second half efforts when Mathieu Debuchyhandballed in his own box. Colman stepped up to fire powerfully past Mickael Landreau, who didmanage to get a hand to it, but could not prevent it from hitting the net.The French champions had more possession for the remainder of the match but could not create any real opportunities, and the hosts held out for a hard-earned point and go into their next match against CSKA Moscow as group leaders.Lille, after squandering a lead for the second consecutive matchday, face 2010 winners Inter in their next outing.
