On-loan midfielder Aleksandr Hleb could be in line to make his Wolfsburg debut in Saturday's Bundesliga match against Nurnberg. The 30-year-old has not played since joining from Barcelona this summer because of a knee injury, but is now training with his team-mates. He told the club's website: "My knee looks very good. The muscle is still getting stronger, and I'm very satisfied overall. I really think I'm making great progress." The Belarus international has targeted Saturday for a possible comeback should he get through the week without problems. He said: "I feel the support of the coach and the team and am giving everything to get back into shape. My goal is to train fully this week and then see if it's enough." In Hleb's absence, Wolfsburg have had a difficult start to their league campaign, registering three wins and five defeats from their eight games to sit 15th in the table - two points behind Saturday's opponents. Hleb added: "In the Bundesliga, every opponent is strong and any team can win anywhere. It is definitely a difficult game. "Three wins are not enough. We have to improve as quickly as possible. In addition, we are playing at home [on Saturday]. And you simply must win home games."
