Arfa became the world s youngest MCP in 2004
Islamabad - Qna

Arfa became the world s youngest MCP in 2004 Islamabad - Qna Arfa Karim Randhawa, a Pakistani girl, who was the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in the world died at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) of Lahore on Saturday night. Arfa, 16, became the world s youngest MCP in 2004 at the age of only 9. As recognition of her achievement she was also invited by Microsoft s Chairman Bill Gates to visit the Microsoft Headquarters in USA in 2005. Arfa, also a recipient of the President s Award for Pride of Performance, was admitted to CMH after she suffered from an epileptic seizure and cardiac arrest some weeks ago.  There were reports in Pakistani media that Bill Gates had himself called Arfa s family on phone to inquire after her health. But according to Pakistan Today newspaper a Microsoft representative had conveyed wishes of Bill Gates for Arfa s early recovery and informed the family that a panel of four doctors had been employed by Microsoft for consultations on Arfa s mysterious disease.  However Arfa could not survive and passed away on Saturday night. She will be buried in her ancestral village near Faisalabad city on Sunday.
