Emirate Palace Marina Abu Dhabi - Jamal Al Majaida Emirate Palace Marina has obtained the international blue flag certificate from the Emirates wildlife society and the world wide fund for nature (WWF).the Marina, inaugurated last year, houses more than 167 docks, which receive yachts ranging from 12 to 90 metres in length. It is designed in a very special way to protect the palace landscape and its marine environmental nature.Hotel general manager Bogra Berbroujlo expressed his happiness over its first blue flag, which recognises the hotel's environmental excellence. He said: "The international blue flag certificate is considered as international recognition for our exerted efforts, awarding our continued efforts for preserving environment and keeping and caring the tourism and natural facilities of the palace beaches and its magic white sands."The blue flag award is an international environmental award designed for supporting and developing beaches and shores all over the world. It is awarded to places expressing who are committed to high environmental program standards and will put the Emirate Palace Marina on the international map as one of The most prestigious marina development in the world.Berbroujlo described this award as a very important event for this entertainment berthing facility, allocated for Luxury yachts in its second year with "excellent services", adding "I want to thank all Emirate Palace Marina team for their exerted efforts to keep our image allowing us to obtain this great award seeking for coming awards in the future."Marina captain Toby Howes said: "Choosing our clients to visit our distinguished environment is based on our high value of experience, it's our responsibility to keep our clients satisfied, and preserve our high standards."
