President Abdel Fattah El Sisi had a telephone call on Monday with Jordan's King Abdallah II to offer condolences over the victims of Sunday's terrorist attack in Karak city that left dozens of people dead and injured.
During the phone call, President Sisi extended deep condolences of the Egyptian people and government to Jordan, expressing solidarity with families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
For his part, the Jordanian monarch thanked the president and stressed the depth of relations binding the two countries and called for intensifying international efforts to fight terror.
