The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has strongly condemned the two separate suicide attacks yesterday at mosques in Kabul and in the Doleena district in Ghor province, Afghanistan, that killed at least 60 people and injured many others.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen reiterated that these acts of terror go against the core values of Islam and humanity. He also offered his deep condolences to the families of the victims, government and people of Afghanistan and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
He further urged the Afghan authorities not to relent in their efforts in fighting terrorism and violent extremism.
