His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has offered condolences to the family of the martyr, First Corporal Saeed Matar Ali Al Ka'abi, who fell while performing his national duty as part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition’s ‘Operation Restoring Hope’ in Yemen.
While visiting the mourning majlis in Al Qurayyah in Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed offered condolences to the family of the martyr, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon him and rest his soul in eternal peace, and grant his family patience and solace.
While speaking with the fallen hero’s family, Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the UAE's pride and appreciation for its sons who sacrifice their lives for the sake of their nation. He added that they are role models of courage, patriotism and belonging, gleaned from their forefathers who lit the way for new Emirati generations to follow in their footsteps and raise the flag of the country.
He also highlighted the noble and honourable stance of the families for their steadfastness and strength. They are proud of the sacrifices of their martyrs for the sake of the nation's glory, he said.
Also offering condolences along with Sheikh Mohamed were Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director of The Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince’s Court of Abu Dhabi; and Homaid Al Shimmari, Deputy Group CEO and Chief Human Capital and Corporate Officer of Mubadala.
