His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has offered his condolences to the family of Emirati martyr Abdullah Ahmed Al Hossani, who died while performing his national duty as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's "Operation Restoring Hope," in Yemen.
While visiting the mourning majlis in Al Falah area of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyr, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace, and grant his family patience and solace.
Sheikh Mohamed spoke to the martyr's father and other family members, saying the words are not enough to describe heroism and sacrifices of the UAE martyrs.
"The heroes of the UAE have left a profound legacy of patriotism and inspired us to be more determined in giving to our country," he added.
He also applauded the patriotism and resolve of the martyrs' families who demonstrated pride over the sacrifices of the hero martyrs.
Sheikh Mohamed decorated Omer, brother of martyr Abdullah, with a medal he won earlier today at the Jiu-Jitsu President's Cup.
"This is the martyr's brother who insisted to compete and win the medal. These are the children of (late Sheikh) Zayed. You are a role model and I wish you all the best," Sheikh Mohamed said.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun, Director of the Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, also offered condolences along with Sheikh Mohamed.
