Egypt has denounced the terrorist attack that took place Saturday in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri and left nine people dead and 24 more injured.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman expressed a statement condolences to the families of the victims, stressing Egypt's support for the Nigerian people and government in the face of terrorism.
Earlier in the day, two suicide bombers killed at least nine people in Maiduguri.
Although there was no immediate claim of responsibility, fingers were pointed at Boko Haram insurgents.
