Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser Wednesday said Pakistani Parliament and people had expressed complete solidarity with the people and House of Representatives of Republic of Indonesia and condoled the loss of precious lives during the recent powerful earthquake and tsunami in Island of Sulawesi, Indonesia.
He expressed these views in a letter written to Bambang Soesatyo, Speaker House of Representatives of Republic of Indonesia, a press release said.
The speaker assured that in this difficult situation whole Pakistani nation stood with their Indonesian brethren and hoped that the brave people of Republic of Indonesia will soon overcome this tragic incident.
“Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with all those bereaved families, who lost their love ones and are passing through trauma,” he added.
Asad Qaiser asked Indonesian speaker to convey the sympathies of members of National Assembly of Pakistan to bereaved families.
