The Egyptian tourist guide, Mai al-Husseini, said that space tourism witnessed great development since the payment of the US millionaire Dennis Tito huge sum of $ 20 million to spend his vacation period of eight days aboard the International Space Station in 2001.
"If all goes as planned, Virgin Galactic Company aims to offer the first flights into space. There are three other companies are planning for similar trips, with prices starting at $ 95 thousand," al-Husseini said.
Al-Husseini added, in interview with Arabs Today, that group of companies announced that booking for a trip to the space is easy, saying that the office of Virgin Galactic, is located in an upscale area of the City of London. She stressed that the age of the tourists in these trips should be at least 18 years old, therefore, it is not allowed for young boys to travel to space.
The tourist guide stressed that these flights are available in a company located in New Mexico, and the cheaper trip costs 95 thousand dollars, by spacecraft dedicated to it.
She explained that travel through space requires great courage and the traveler recieves certain trainings before liftoff and special training to deal with gravity.
