The Turkish airline Arish- Youssry Mohamed The Egyptian Tourism Ministry headed by Minister Hisham Zaazou and the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication in Turkey, Mr Yahia Bash have attended the launch of the first ever air travel between Istanbul and Sharm el Sheikh international airport. The Turkish airline statement stated that: "Travels between Istanbul and Sharm el Sheikh will be in four weekly travels in Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday." The Turkish company is expected to facilitate travels to Hurghada later this month. The Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication in Turkey, Mr Yahia Bash, said: "There is a historical relation between Egypt and Turkey as opening these travels will restore the cultural relations between both countries and develop trading." South Sinai Governorate Major General Khaled Foda confirmed that attracting Turkish market to Sharm el Sheikh is considered an added value to the Egyptian tourism in the governorate and it is an excellent step, particularly in that time which witnessing few Turkish tourists in the city. Foda mentioned that Sharm el Sheikh and all of Egypt is completely secured, as there is a real development already started in the Egyptian lands after the stability of the political situation.
