Marzouki was beaten by Rwandan leader, Paul Kagame Tunis - Azhar Jarboui Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki has topped a list celebrating the most web-savvy African leaders. The list, published by French website Économie Matin, placed Marzouki second, recognising his pioneering use of social media, including Facebook and Twitter. “[Marzouki] is almost always present [on Twitter],” the article claimed, “commenting on news in the Arab world, indexing favourable articles and sharing photographs of his presidential activities.” The Tunisian President was beaten by Rwandan leader, Paul Kagame. Marzouki has over 100,000 followers on micro-blogging site, Twitter.
