London - Arab Today

London has one of the most open and dynamic economies in the world. Our city is a global financial capital, a creative powerhouse and an international centre for business. We are home to an incredible mix of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The United Kingdom's decision to leave the European Union was not the result that London wanted. But my clear message to our friends from across the world is that our great city is open to you all.
London will continue to be the successful city it is today. It will continue to be the best place in the world to do business and will always be outward-looking, trading and engaging with the entire world - including the European Union.
London's fundamental strengths, its deep international talent pool, its global trading links and its cosmopolitan, vibrant culture will always remain intact.
Our city is home to more than one million foreign nationals, who make a huge contribution to our city - working hard, paying taxes and contributing to our civic and cultural life. They will always be welcome here. We value the enormous contribution they make to our city and that will not change as a result of the recent referendum.
London is open for business. We are a truly global city. Last year, more people than ever before opted to visit London, to sample the best of our capital and the best of Britain. London's enduring attraction for tourists and investors is that it has something for everyone and an appeal that will always extend across the globe.
I am absolutely determined to build alliances to ensure that London is open to the world for decades to come.
