Over 20 people were injured Monday when a bomb exploded at a military hospital in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
Deputy police chief Srivara Ransibrahmanakul told reporters that the blast, caused by bombing, took place at Phra Mongkutklao Hospital where pieces of a circuit and a battery, as well as some wires were found, he said. No suspects had been identified and an investigation into the blast had been opened, he added.
Local media reported that the explosion took place in the waiting room for retired military officials in the hospital, and that all the injured were being treated.No one claimed responsibility for the blast.
