Obama orders flags at half-mast after Colorado shootings

As a mark of respect for the victims of the Colorado mass shootings, US President Barack Obama has ordered the American flag to be flown at half-mast over the White House and all public buildings and grounds, as well as embassies and military bases overseas and naval vessels, to honor the victims of the mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado until sunset on July 25, according to a proclamation released by the White House. At least 14 people were killed and 50 others injured when a masked gunman opened fire at a midnight showing of the new Batman film in a suburb of Denver early Friday.
