Turkish police have killed two PKK militants in a clash in southeastern Turkey’s Siirt province, the Turkish security sources said Wednesday.
Two women militants were preparing to carry out an attack on local law enforcement units when the police raided their home in downtown Siirt, the sources said.
The ensuing clash left both of them dead and officers seized a long barreled weapon, two pistols, 12 grenades and anti-tank and anti-personnel rocket ammunitions during the operation.
