President of Egypt’s Zamalek sporting club Mortada Mansour refused the demands to his football team to play the coming match against Makassa in the Egyptian Premier League in Suez Stadium. He stressed the need for playing the match in Cairo, calling for equality with rival Al Ahly.
He added that the team will not turn to any foreign coaches during the current period due to the country’s dollar crisis, saying that the step could be taken in case of the current coach Mohamed Helmy’s failure to prove his efficiency in leading the team.
He added that they did not negotiate with Tunisian coach Nabil Maloul, stressing that Maloul presented an offer to lead the team during the coming period through a mediator.
