Member of Egypt’s Zamalek coaching staff Alaa Abdel Ghani stressed that his team is able to qualify for the coming round in the CAF Champions League, saying that the team can win the coming two matches and then to qualify for the coming round.
He added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that it was surprise defeat against Algerian Itihad Al Assema, saying that the players failed to meet the aspirations of their fans due to the mistakes committed by the defenders.
He added that that the Egyptian team managed to win the first match held in Cairo, as they used the two mistakes the Moroccan defenders committed during the match. He added that he prepared a number of defenders to participate in the coming match.
He stressed, “We need seven points to qualify for the coming round in CAF Champions League. We will perform each match individually.”
He added, “The lack of discussion about the other teams will undoubtedly be influential because of its great experience in African competitions and also for its great ability to cut the ball and disrupt opponents' attacks, but despite this absence we have other players who can offer a better level.”
