Moroccan Wydad Casablanca’s striker Shiskom Shekatra stressed that he managed to restore his performance during the current period of preparation for the coming season. He praised the positive atmosphere surrounding the team during the current period.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he insists to find a good position in the team during the coming season saying that he aspires to convince the team’s coach Al Hussein Amota to be one of the major player on whom he will depend during the coming season.
"There is a major different between last year and this year, where there is a great welcome from the fans to be the successor of the Liberian William Jaipur, which made me retract the idea of leaving the team," he said in statements for Arabs Today.
Chikatara said that he is comfortable with his team at Agadir camp and its morale is high to provide the desired addition, adding that he will be on time in the Nativi tournament, which will kick off, Saturday, at Mohammed V Stadium.
"I promise Wydad's fans that they will know the real Chikatara in the upcoming sporting season, which will witness the participation of the red team in several national and African tournaments," he said.
